I’m not sure if this is one of those things that are part of common knowledge or not but the Postal Service managed to convert a perfectly working, state of the art, computer into a piece of junk!
Yes, I had my beloved computer mailed to me, after waiting for it for almost two months, yeah big surprise the mail system is slow :-\ , finally arrived…to its end! Of course I insured it, but that doesn’t change the fact that when you’re waiting for a package you don’t really expect it to arrived like they stomped on it, or that you should spend your time in that awfull process of insurance claim. Anyway, I had the feeling that something bad would happen to it but after many deliveries with no worries you start thinking that you are not part of that n% of customers that have their parcel damaged during … (more…)

family, found worldwide and composed of a number of species between 12,000 and 15,000. The adult form is often black or dark brown-red color with hardened front wings, wide rounded had and a lenght of 13-16 mm. The larva, which is yellow to pale reddish brown in color, grow up to 32 mm in length. Mealworms in the wild are considered pest, they attack graineries and stored foods, eating grain, bran and cerials causing damages. There are many reasons why someone would raise mealworms, either to cut the cost of buying them, exspecially in large quantities, or to be indipendent from the local pet store availability, or maybe to have access to different size so small lizards or baby frogs happetites can be satisfied, and why not, just as an interesting school project. Raising mealworms is a very easy process and requires very little care.

Finally I found the time work on this website, as the domain name suggest it will be mostly related to roaches, but also other pet/feeder insects, reptiles, snakes and frogs. Is my hope to include and share helpful information among all bugs enthusiasts. Also to provide those who keep frogs and lizards and would like to cut the costs of buying live feeders by learning how to raise colonies of roaches, crickets and mealworms.
All the informations are based upon my direct experiance and the knowledge of other breeders all over the world shared through the internet.
I hope you will enjoy this website, I encourage you to leave comments, ask questions and share your thoughts.
Thank you,
The Mystical
